Noted HANNspree’s Vice President, Marketing and Product Planning
Michael Amkreutz: “Since our founding in 2004, HANNspree has
promised to bring our unique ‘design-centric’ approach
to a wide variety of exciting CE products, in addition to our flat-panel
LCD and plasma TVs. With the introduction of our first three portable
products we are following through on that commitment. Our two new
portable DVD players and our portable display offer users the high
quality, advanced performance features and superior build materials
that our customers have come to expect from HANNspree.”
Planes, Trains or Automobiles: Enjoy Superb DVD Viewing!
Sleek and modern-looking, HANNspree’s new portable products
are combination of functionality, ergonomics and elegance. For example,
both the company’s new portable DVD players feature advanced
Wide Color Active Matrix TFT screens and support playback of all
conventional video and audio formats, as well as WMA, MP3 and MPEG4.
Both also feature USB Host interfaces, which let users play back
files from other USB-compatible devices. With their 2Wx 2 built-in
stereo speakers, digital audio output for 5.1-channel stereo, and
Dolby Digital decoding, both devices ensure great sound quality,
and 24-bit/96KHz Audio DACs and 10-bit/54MHz Video DACs further
enhance both video and audio playback. Both are super-slim (just
1.3” deep for the UP101VD and 1.1” for the UP851D) and
both feature a full complement of audio and video inputs for maximum
on-the-go flexibility. In addition, both models feature a full two
hours of playing time, as well as two headphone jacks for shared
viewing enjoyment.
Most notably, the UP101VD’s display features a unique 180-degree
swivel design that lets users enjoy the very best viewing angle
no matter what position they are sitting in – and especially
useful feature for tight quarter-viewing such as automobiles, planes,
trains or buses. For maximum flexibility, both models also come
with AC to DC power adapters, 12V car adapters, car seat mounting
straps, and table-top stands.
Model UP071VA: Have Widescreen Display Will Travel!
HANNspree’s new UP071VA is a breakthrough in portable widescreen
(16:9) image quality. The super elegant and slim 7-inch display
can be connected to any DVD player, PC or VCD for unmatched picture
quality. The screen boasts 480x234 WVGA+ resolution, with a brightness
level of 250 cd/m2 and a 300:1 contrast ratio. A full complement
of connectivity options includes A/V input, DC in, composite video,
audio in and a headphone jack. Like HANNspree’s two new DVD
players, the UP071VA includes AC to DC power adapter, 12V Car Adapter.
