New York – July 5, 2005 – HANNspree California, Inc.
today announced that it has signed a three-year licensing agreement
with Major League Baseball Properties (MLBP) for the creation of
an exciting lineup of lifestyle-oriented 15- and 9.6-inch LCD television
sets based on popular MLB teams and events and featuring their logos.
HANNspree will be an official licensee for MLB-themed LCD TV sets
in the U.S. market for the three-year period beginning July 1st,
2005 and ending June 30th, 2008. The MLB-themed TVs will be available
in most retail outlets, including MLB.com as well as from each team
in the league and from all HANNspree retail channels, including
www.hannspree.com.
As part of the agreement, HANNspree will be an official sponsor
of the Hancock All-Star FanFest at Detroit’s Cobo Center July
8-12. At the Hancock All-Star FanFest, HANNspree will provide a
full display of its MLB-themed TVs as well as products from the
regular lineup.

The MLB-themed HANNspree sets are designed to let baseball fans
express their love of the game and passion for their favorite teams.
For example, one set, based on the shape of a real baseball, features
real white leather and red stitching that symbolizes the 108 stitches
on a real baseball, and is emblazoned with either the World Series
Champions or New York Yankees team logos. The “Sandlot”
TV features a wide variety of favorite team logos, and is designed
with a distinctive shape and character to subtly capture the spirit
of a Major League stadium.

Like all HANNspree LCD TVs, the MLB-themed models are an unprecedented
fusion of art, technology and sheer fun. All sets, for instance,
feature a multi-dimensional 360-degree design, offering unique aesthetic

In addition, all sets utilize high-performance features and high-quality
LCD screens developed in-house and in association with industrial

Availability and pricing
HANNspree televisions will be available from HANNspree-owned and
operated boutique stores in Beverly Hills, California (July) and
San Francisco (August. The company is also in negotiations with
leading national and regional retailers and expects to announce
details of additional distribution agreements in the coming months.
Products will also be available for purchase online at www.hannspree.com
in early October. HANNspree televisions will retail from $449 to
$1,399 M.S.R.P.
