December 29, 2005 – HANNspree California, Inc. has
signed a licensing agreement with Warner Bros. Consumer Products
to create an exciting lineup of unique lifestyle-oriented LCD television
sets based on the well-known Looney Tunes™ characters.
The initial HANNspree TV line will feature familiar Looney Tunes
favorites, including Tweety, Bugs Bunny, and the Tazmanian
Devil (Taz). As part of the agreement, HANNspree will be the
licensee for Looney Tunes-themed LCD TV sets in the United
States. The new TVs will be available at national and regional retailers,
all HANNspree-owned stores, HANNSpree.com and Amazon.com.

Colorful LCD Sets Capture
The Fun and Excitement of the Irreverent Looney Tunes Characters
Like all HANNspree TVs,
the colorful new Looney Tunes-inspired sets feature a multi-dimensional
360-degree design, offering unique aesthetic appeal from all perspectives,
front, back and sides. All models utilize cutting-edge technical
features including best-in-class speakers from leading manufacturers,
and high quality LCD screens developed in-house and in association
with industrial leaders such as HannStar. Here are the initial entries
in the lineup:
• Bugs
Bunny “What’s Up Doc?” 12-inch
LCD TV (MSRP: $499): The spirit of Bugs Bunny is everywhere
in this 12-inch set, which boasts a rounded silver cabinet capped
by an illustration of the famed hare. On the front, speedy Bugs
is wearing roller blades, and on the back he’s riding a snowboard!
A micro-injection rubber stand in multiple colors ensures stability.
• Bugs
Bunny 12-Inch LCD TV (MSRP: $499): The mischievous
Bugs is also the star of this innovative 12-inch set, which includes
an adjustable, die-cast metal wire stand in the shape of the “wascally
wabbit” himself. The shape of the LCD TV itself even mimics
Bugs’ face, and it’s supported by a curvy frame and
housed in a sleek silvery cabinet. The TV is detachable from the
stand, and a special “rabbit tail” cable management
feature combines innovation and design for a pleasing and functional
aesthetic.
• Tweety
10-Inch LCD TV (MSRP: $449): An illustration of Tweety
rocks on top of a roly-poly orange base, taunting Sylvester. The
integrated rubber bean bag base allows for easy adjustment of the
viewing angle.
• Taz
10-Inch LCD TV (MSRP: $449): The
fast-spinning Tasmanian Devil literally makes a meal out of this
fun 10-inch set, which is shaped like one of his favorite snacks,
a chicken leg! Taz' voracious face is seen chomping on the TV's
detachable cabinet. For fun, you can even remove the chicken leg
body from Taz’ head.
