Innovation
Thinking outside the box, HANNspree’s design center develops
and embraces innovations such as patented coloring, materials,
picture printing and surface finishing techniques that are not
used in traditional consumer electronics industry. The company
also works with internationally renowned industrial design houses
in the product development process.
The
company’s internal research and development team, which
comprises over 150 experts in a range of fields, ensures that
HANNspree products incorporate the most advanced technical specifications
available.

Video quality
To ensure crisp and accurate image reproduction, HANNspree develops
its high-resolution televisions internally. The company uses the
best and latest Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC)
technology and its HDTV-compliant products emphasize the company’s
belief in and commitment to digital broadcasting. The company
also co-develops video technologies such as 8-bit ADC/PLL, Advanced
Noise Reduction, Advance signal detection and edge smoothing technologies.

Audio quality
HANNspree has mastered the art of integrating premium audio technologies
into the exterior design of every one of its televisions without
sacrificing sound quality. HANNspree TVs offer powerful, home
theater sound reproduction.

Application research
HANNspree’s in-house team is actively working to realize
the potential of the “home entertainment net,” a connected
environment that integrates Internet technologies, computing power,
wireless transmission, digital frames and interactive entertainment
to create the ultimate audiovisual experience.
Employing
the latest technologies
In addition to its internal R&D investment, HANNspree brings
to its customers the very latest consumer electronics innovations
through its alliances with Hannstar and other world-renowned panel
manufacturers. The company’s Liquid Crystal Display (LCD)
screens employ Advanced Super In-Plane-Switch (AS-IPS) technology,
minimizing the impact of viewing angle on color tone. HANNspree’s
application of Black Impulse Insertion technology increases the
response time of LCD panels, further improving the viewing experience.
In
addition, HANNspree’s R&D team is co-developing a new
generation of video processors and scaling engines with companies
such as Genesis, PixelWorks and Trident.
HANNspree’s
products offer best-in-class LCD-TV by combining ASIC technology
with the latest panels, a 3D comb filter, ADC and gamma correction
technologies, Directional Correlation Deinterlacing and the latest
processing technologies.
